What we really do is provide our customers with peace of mind when they need it. We help in dealing with IRS, state taxing agencies or any other compliance entity, provide support when they cannot find the answer and provide solutions to everyday personal and business financial decisions. In most instances we provide savings whether it be in tax or on the financial end. We also have a great staff available for your bookkeeping and accounting needs when you cannot afford one or it doesn't make financial sense to have one. We provide reviews or audits when required by banks or bonding companies in order to continue operations, financial direction for starting a new business or for their retirement. Most importantly, we provide a trusted partner our clients can always rely on for tax, accounting, financial, and strategic business and personal decisions requiring the expertise of qualified and experienced CPA's.

Firm History
On June 1, 1990 Ronald L. Miller CPA, PC was started by Ron Miller, who at the time had 14 years experience having been associated with a large local accounting firm as partner/shareholder for 8 of those 14 years. His expertise is in tax, business valuations, strategic business planning, and litigation support. Ron’s accreditations include CPA, ABV and CVA.
In 2004 Ron changed the name of the firm to Miller & Associates, CPA, PC in recognition of the growth of the firm and the addition of Ron’s son, Ryan Miller, CPA. Prior to joining Miller & Associates, Ryan worked for KPMG’s Albuquerque office for 4 years, serving in the capacity of senior associate for 2 of those years. As engagement senior for KPMG, Ryan was responsible for the on-site supervision of the audit, completion of key technical audit areas, and working with management on a daily basis. Ryan has managed the firm’s audit practice for 5 years and became a shareholder of the firm as of January 1, 2008.
In 2008 Robert Castillo, CPA joined the firm with over 30 years private industry experience primarily in oil & gas and heavy highway construction. He has served in various capacities including Controller and CFO. His long industry experience gives us a keen insight into our client’s needs from a different perspective.
The firm currently consists of 16 employees. The firm’s business consists primarily of tax consulting and preparation, governmental audits, for profit and non-profit audits, financial accounting and planning, write up work, business valuations, litigation support, life planning, and management consulting services.
Our goal is to provide a working relationship with our clients, stressing communication and prompt attention to their specific needs. Our firm’s education, training, and diverse experience provides our clients with benefits in many areas including tax planning, financial planning, strategic business decisions, mergers & acquisitions, business valuations, college planning, retirement planning, estate planning and other needs that occur during the lifetime of an individual or business requiring the knowledge of a CPA.
